There are 3 men, just call them J, K, and L. And we got 2 clues here.
J said, “We are all Swindlecants." (clue #1).
K said, “Just one of us is an honest man." (clue #2).
Let’s analyze! Start from the clue #1.
It’s said that they all three are Swindlecants. It must be false because a Swindlecant never tell truth. Means that J (who said it) is a Swindlecant.
Knowing the first statement is false, we can conclude that there must be at least an honest man among them.
Go to the clue #2.
The word “at least” means it can be one or two honest men there. If there’s only one, it must be K (it’s synchronized with K’s statement telling there’s only one honest man among them). Also means that L is a Swindlecant.
If there are two, K’s statement must be true. But in fact, it’s contrary to K’s statement (there’s only one honest man). Means that K is a Swindlecant. So, it’s impossible to be so.
Finally, we can conclude that J (the first man) and L (the third man) are Swindlecants, while K (the second man) is an Honestant.
